«A set of shared digital systems which are secure and interoperable, built on open standards, and specifications to deliver and provide equitable access to public and/or private services at societal scale and are governed by enabling rules to drive development, inclusion, innovation, trust, and competition and respect human rights and fundamental freedoms. (India’s G20 Presidency, 2023)»

«Providers of person identification data shall ensure that person identification data that they issue is cryptographically bound to the wallet unit to which it is issued.»

«Securely store, manage and validate person identification data and electronic attestations of attributes.»

Gekwalificeerde attestatie = papieren bewijs
«A qualified electronic attestation of attributes and attestations of attributes issued by, or on behalf of, a public sector body responsible for an authentic source shall have the same legal effect as lawfully issued attestations in paper form.»

VLOP’s moeten wallet accepteren én faciliteren
«Where providers of very large online platforms as referred to in Article 33 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( *5 ) require user authentication for access to online services, they shall also accept and facilitate the use of European Digital Identity Wallets that are provided in accordance with this Regulation for user authentication only upon the voluntary request of the user and in respect of the minimum data necessary for the specific online service for which authentication is requested.»

«Develop and decide on a set of safeguards for inclusive, responsible, safe, secure and user-centred digital public infrastructure that can be implemented in different contexts (SDG 16);»

«All individuals should have a choice of channels (digital/non-digital) to access and benefit from services enabled by DPI based on their individual capacity and resources. Access should not be limiting, conditional or mandatory — explicitly or in practice.»

NL: publieke EDI-wallet / NL Wallet
